As Board Certified Colon and Rectal Surgeons, we offer convenient appointments and when need be, emergency or same day appointments. We provide evaluation and treatment and in some cases in-office procedures as well as convenient scheduling for outpatient procedures.
These include proctologic conditions such as rectal bleeding or pain, hemorrhoids, fissures, pilonidal cysts, abscesses and pruritus ani ("itchy bottom").
Our practice also includes the medical and, where appropriate, the surgical treatment of colonic conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome
("spastic colitis"), ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, diverticulosis
and diverticulitis, polyps, cancer, constipation, diarrhea and incontinence.
We also have extensive experience in the use of sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy
in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the colon lining, such as polyps or colitis.
We take pride in maintaining a modern "state of the art" office, which includes such ultra sophisticated equipment as infrared coagulation and ligation therapy, and fiberoptic sigmoidoscopy.
